Description

This workshop explores the possibility to strengthen the senses such as taste and auditory by cancelling the sight. this way, the flavours perceived are highly stimulated and the sound more genuine and honest when tasting, avoiding the influece or interfere or void the other two.

Methodology

A volunteer from the group, placed on the other side of the wall, blindly tastes food through a hole; the sound or noise he/she makes when tasting is recorded and repeted by all other participants to create a relation between food and sound. Once all the food is tasted and sound recorded, all participants will agree in a performative show, a chorus of sounds, using the food tasted and the sound recorded.

Goals

The activity exercises the creative use of our senses in to our everyday as well as learning different sensation by exploring the limits of our senses.
